Right now I'm feeling a little lethargic (because of our Easter meal), but here are some pictures:
Some of these pictures are a little blurry, but just hang in there for a few more months till I get a super-dee-duper camera for my birthday.
Here we have oven-roasted zucchini. Plain and simple but still yummy! Hehe, if you look to the right (on the fridge), you'll see a male magnet. It's a David (you know, the Michelangelo sculpture) magnet that you can dress in different outfits. I got this magnet as a birthday present a few years ago, and I get such a kick out of it! Moving on.......
This is blurry so you can't really see it, but it consists of steamed leeks, steamed brussels sprouts, and Cashew Bechamel Sauce from Cooking on the Right Side of the Brain. Delicious!
Sadly, I forgot to take a picture of our third appetizer. (It was green beans in lemon-shoyu dressing. )
Another unfortunate thing that happened was my picture of the salad we had for dinner came out too blurry to post. :(
It had in it:
Lettuce*, grated carrot, tomato, oven-crisped tempeh cubes, nutritional yeast, and Garlic Tarragon Dressing from vegparadise.
This is a millet pilaf based on an idea for millet found in The Passionate Vegetarian. In it there's millet (duh!), scallions, oranges, raisins, hazelnut oil, and orange and lemon juices.
Now we have a picture essay of dessert. I'm afraid this is where I may have overdone it, hence my being lethargic.
If anyone has read my post about Camille, this is the thing-a-mahjing (is that how you spell it? Oh well, it is now.)that I couldn't really explain. I guess it would just be called a mini cake(s) pan (the cakes come out egg shaped, though. Isn't that cool!!!) I did take a picture before I filled them with batter, but it got lost in the shuffle.
From another view.....
Cooling on a cooling rack. Don't they look like little Easter eggs? :) Can you spot the one that got a little demolished?
Blogger is AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It never uploads pictures like I want it to. I know I'm not the only one with these problems..... Anyhow, I wanted to upload a picture of strawberry ricemellow cream (Rachel brought it home as a sample from the company) because I spread this on the bottom of the egg shaped part of the cake. (On the base I put some unsweetened coconut colored with natural food coloring from Camille, and then some sliced strawberries.)
Another random pic.
The finished product!
Another angle. Can you spot my leg? (Rachel took this photo)
By the way, the cake recipe was the Very Versatile Vanilla Cake from Great Good Desserts.
That's all folks, and have a happy Easter (or Passover). :)

Do I see popcorn?? <3
What a gala event with all those cakes.
No, no popcorn. I think you're talking about the millet pilaf. I wish it was popcorn..... (I can't eat popcorn because I have braces.)
